The ball featured live and silent auctions, raffles of Jost Van Dyke’s Soggy Dollar rum cakes, as well as pledges. Items auctioned included varied items such as exotic vacations, art memorabilia and a designer gown.

Ms. Donovan, Director BVI House Asia said, "A video produced by the Department of Information and Public Relations/GIS, featuring the Minister for Education and Culture Myron Walwyn, the Principal and students of the school, was loudly applauded and attendees said they were deeply touched by it.

Tables at the ball were all named after the islands of the BVI.

The ball was co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kowloon North. Monies raised are still being tallied.
