BVI House Asia Sponsors Premium Hospitality Booth at the Asian Financial Forum 2016 in Hong Kong

Hong Kong, January 19, 2016 – BVI House Asia sponsored a premium hospitality booth at the Asian Financial Forum 2016 (AFF), held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 18th to 19th.
 
The AFF, now in its ninth year, annually draws together leaders in business, finance and government from around the world to discuss issues of major importance to Asia and by extension, the rest of the world. The theme of this year’s Forum was “Asia: Shaping the New Paradigm for Growth.” More than 2,800 participants from 38 countries and regions took part in the two-day event.
 
The BVI House Asia booth provided a venue in which BVI representatives could update CEOs, government leaders and other officials attending the Forum on the BVI’s latest business and financial offerings as well as its growing importance to Asian economies.
 
The booth, themed “British Virgin Islands: The Choice for Global Business” and featuring brochures and other collateral material about the BVI, attracted more than 120 visitors during the two day Forum. This is the second consecutive year in which BVI House Asia has sponsored a booth at the AFF.
 
Representing the BVI at the Forum were Ms. Elise Donovan, Director of BVI House Asia; Mr. Leon Wheatley, Asia Representative of BVI Financial Services; Mr. Barry Mitchell, Group Legal Counsel, AMS Financial Group; and Mr. Peter Gao, Executive Officer of BVI House Asia.
